My Philosophy
It’s a joy to work with brides, event planners and those celebrating special occasions. My expertise is the scripted hands for weddings and special events. Special occasions, such as births, important birthdays and anniversaries along with certificates and commissioned pieces often call for a variety of other hands I’ve mastered over the years.
I am a member of the International Association of Master Penmen, Engrossers and Teachers of Handwriting (IAMPETH) as well as an active member and past Officer of the Houston Calligraphy Guild. I’ve enjoyed studying with some of the best teachers in the US and Europe over my long career.

I have taught the Italic, Copperplate and Uncial hands to thousands of students since 2000 through adult classes at Leisure Learning Unlimited and the Houston Calligraphy Guild. I always encourage my students to share their new skills with others. In this digital age, it is very special to receive a hand written note or see your name written in calligraphy.
